Dean's Welcome Address:

Prof. Hannah Oluwayemisi OlawumiI II

I am deeply honoured and humbled to accept the role of Dean of our esteemed Faculty. Let me begin by expressing my sincere gratitude for the confidence and trust you have placed in me, especially in electing me in absentia. I consider this a great privilege.
As Dean, I am dedicated to creating an academic environment built on excellence, innovation, and teamwork. I will strive to foster a culture that values both high-quality teaching and impactful research. I plan to build on the accomplishments of those who came before me, while working together with all of you to explore new opportunities. Let me also take a moment to thank the outgoing Dean for his exceptional leadership and dedicated service. Your hard work has established a strong foundation that we will continue to build upon. I also sincerely appreciate the members of the Faculty Board, not only for your vote of confidence but for your ongoing commitment to the growth, excellence, and integrity of our faculty. As we start this journey together, I promise to lead with humility, openness, and purpose. I welcome your ideas, your feedback, and most importantly, your partnership.
In closing, I want to thank you again for this incredible honour. I am eager and excited to begin this journey with you, and I pledge to serve with integrity, diligence, and unwavering dedication to our shared mission.
